Barrel Threading

We offer superior precision CNC turned threading services. From hunting profile barrels to 1.250 straight tapered, we have done them all.

We do not put your barrel on centers we take the time to indicate directly off the bore to ensure that your Silencer is absolutely concentric and true before we cut threads. We cut a new 11 degree crown during the threading process to ensure the lands and groves are sharp and ture. All of this is to give you the best possible results so you can enjoy shooting knowing that the bullet is leaving the barrel

with the best possible outcome.

Requirements

Most silencer manufacturers require a .100 thousandths shoulder for the silencer to seat up against, with hunting profiles depending on caliber this can become an issue.

At Bloodline Kinetics we have found a way to thread these contours while still meeting the requirements. For calibers .243 and above with a .580 thousandths muzzle diameter we thread the barrels 9/16x24 and use a precision machined adapter that is rockset to the barrel. This precision adapter brings your threads up to the standard 5/8x24 thread and also gives the propper .100 thousandths shoulder that is required by most manufacturers. We choose not to go to a 1/2x28 thread on these calibers and contours, as we believe that removing the least amount of barrel possible is in the best interest of accuracy and reliability.

  • .725 muzzle diameter for 5/8x24 threads
  • .600 muzzle diameter required for 1/2x28 threads
  • 9/16x24 will be used for barrels .243 up to .30 cal that have muzzle diameter of .580 up to .725. and
  • precision bushing will be rockset in place unless a 9/16x24 muzzle device is provided.

Precision bushing is an additional $35 dollar charge and is mandatory for 9/16x24 muzzle threads unless a muzzle device is provided.
